You must be at least 23 years old to adopt a dog from Every Last One Rescue.

We’re proud to have some of the lowest adoption fees in NYC. Our adoption fees range from $400 to $550, depending on the age and medical needs of the dog. This fee helps cover medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures, and other essentials that prepare our dogs for their forever homes.

No, you only need to fill out one application! Once approved, you can inquire about any available dogs that fit your family’s needs.

All of dogs come from New York City shelters or community rescues. Where many are at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. We prioritize rescuing long-stay dogs, medical cases, and those who need extra care to thrive.

Once approved, we’ll help arrange a meet-and-greet with the dog in foster care. This is an opportunity for you and your family (including any current pets) to meet the dog and ensure it’s a good match!

We primarily adopt to homes in New York City and neighboring states. Out-of-state adoptions are considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on distance and circumstances. There are so many dogs in need across the U.S., and we recommend checking your local shelters and rescues if you’re unable to adopt from us.

If you are an approved adopter with Every Last One, you may have the option to bring a pup home at a meet-and-greet or adoption event. However, we do not offer same-day adoptions for new applicants. After a successful meet-and-greet, there is a final approval process to ensure the best match for both you and the dog.
